Carefully maintained, Ballarat New Cemetery’s lawn sections provide comfort and support for the families of all interred there.

Lawn sections are for non-denominational burials and maintained in perpetuity by the Ballarat General Cemeteries Trust. Special lawn sections are provided for babies to the age of 12 months, and children from one to 12 years.

Lawn Graves

Lawn Graves are carefully tended lawn sections which provide simple and dignified resting places. They are non-denominational areas maintained in perpetuity by the Ballarat General Cemeteries Trust.

Headstone Garden Lawn Areas

Havens of peace and tranquillity, these picturesque surroundings feature graves set amongst a serene blending of beautiful trees, shrubs and carefully maintained lawns. Birdsong Gardens, The Terraces and Conifer Gardens provide families with a variety of choices to best reflect the life being honoured. Natural stone memorials enhance the beauty of this area, and the landscaping has been designed with thoughtfulness and care. A feeling of undisturbed peace for all those interred there flows soothingly throughout these special areas.
