EXPIRED TENURE OF CREMATION REMAINS MEMORIALS
12 months prior to the expiry of a memorial for cremated remains the Trust will commence procedures to notify the holder of the Right of Interment.
The Trust will make every effort it considers appropriate to obtain contact with the responsible person during that time. This includes placing advice on the memorial site of the impending expiry.
Should no contact be received by the Trust from the person responsible by the time of expiry the Trust will remove the memorial as per Section 86 of the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003.
